INTIMACY (Toothbrushing)

2018

This relational performance project was intended to raise questions about everyday forms of intimacy. It investigates the relationship between myself and another participant and provides an observation of how it feels to share an intimate space, and whether that changes or puts certain pressures on the existing dynamic.

This will vary depending on whether the participant is a stranger, family member, acquaintance, friend, or partner. It is observed in what ways this exercise is easy and in what ways it may feel vulnerable or challenging.
